Octamop Lotion 30 ml contains methoxsalen, used along with controlled ultraviolet light in a treatment called psoralen plus ultraviolet light A (PUVA) to treat skin conditions such as vitiligo (discoloured patches in different areas of the body, including the skin and hair) and psoriasis (scaly, itchy, and red patches on the skin). It is used alongside ultraviolet-A radiation. It works by reducing the number of cells the skin makes.
