Silverex Ionic Gel 20 gm belongs to the class of drugs called antiseptics used to treat cuts, burns, and wounds. It also helps to prevent infections in the wounds. It contains two antiseptics, Silver nitrate and Ethyl alcohol. Silver nitrate possesses both antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. It releases silver ions into the skin that kill or inhibit the growth of microorganisms. Ethyl alcohol works by killing microorganisms on the skin and preventing infection.
